

Color Rays and Their Healing Properties
Red: Red is energy, love, passion and lifeblood.
The red energy station covers the area from the pubic bone and the base of the spine right down to the feet and it includes the hands.
Red is the base chakra.
Red is to do with our first experience of physical life - birth is a red experience.
Red relates to the adrenal glands and it is adrenalin which stimulates our response to an emergency - "fight or flight".
Red is energy and survival.
It is our lifeblood.
Red is the slowest of all the wavelengths within the visible spectrum and it is also the most stimulating.
Red is STOP.
Red Alert spells danger.
Red is also anger.
Therapeutic uses of the Red Ray:
Affects the muscular system.
Stimulates the sensory nerves.
Affects the adrenal glands and releases adrenalin into the body.
Good for circulation deficiencies.
For cold hands and feet wear red gloves and socks.
When you have no energy or feel dull and slow use red - wear red clothes, eat red food, think rosy red thought or bathe yourself in an imaginary rose red shower.
Helps with colds.
Do not use red ray for inflamed conditions - use blue - and do not use in cases of emotional disturbances.
Use red ray with caution if you suffer with heart problems - try a rosy red instead.
Each day has its own color and is connected to the planets.
Tuesday is Mars' day and the color is red.
Pink: Pink exists within Red - it is an aspect of the Red energy.
Pink contains the energy of Red but is also a separate color in its own right.
Another unique quality of Pink is the fact that it brings the two ends of the rainbow, or chakra system together : the white light at the very top, above and beyond the rest, and the red light at the base.
Pink is associated with the capacity for reproduction.
Pink offers us the possibility of finding an inner balance of the masculine and feminine energies within ourselves so that we may become complete.
Pink is the antidote for fear. A small pink light at the bedside helps to alleviate the fears of nighttime for children.
Pink is the color of unconditional acceptance. There is a universal (but mostly unconscious) thirst for Pink - a thirst for acceptance and love.
Horticulturists have begun to use Pink light on a large scale to promote the health and growth of roses.
Where Red is passion, Pink is compassion.
Pink is the color of childhood, of dreams and of fantasies for example, the Pink elephant is the symbol of unreality.
Pink is healing - it is the color of the inner child.
Pink rejuvenates us.
Pink is the color of comfort and love that soothes away all hate, all pain.

Think Pink - rejuvenate yourself and recapture your childhood dreams.
When feeling angry or violent - think Pink - it will calm and steady you.
Wear pink to attract loving thoughts from those you come into contact with.
Pink is warming, soothing and relaxing.
Orange:Orange is the color of the sacral chakra - the second major energy center of the body.
Composed of Red and Yellow in equal parts, it combines the physical, earthly energy and vitality of Red with the properties of Yellow.
Orange is the color of enormous vitality and strength.
The orange area is the deepest part of the intestine through which we absorb energy from food.
Orange energy is powerfully physical and powerfully spiritual.
Orange is balance, strength and physical growth.
It stimulates the senses.
Orange represents the stage in our life journey when, as toddlers, we learn to walk, to explore and to express our experience.
Orange is optimism and joy, vitality and enthusiasm.
Orange is a shocking color - it can stimulate and dazzle but it cannot be ignored.
While Orange is energy, it can also be the very opposite - it is the color of Autumn and so is a reminder that a part of us must die in order to make space for something new and to grow.
Therapeutic uses of the Orange Ray:
A wonderful antidote for depression, loneliness and tiredness.
Vegetarians need this color to give them energy.
Helps with cramps and spasms.
Good for chest conditions, chronic asthma, inflammation of the kidneys and gallstones.
The orange ray recharges the etheric body which is the matrix of the physical body.
Sunday is the Sun's day and its color is orange.
Gold:
Gold contains one part red to two parts yellow - so some of the red energy remains - the passion,courage and commitment but gold is also about something new, it is about moving away from dependency and towards finding the individual self.
Gold is the color of hidden knowledge and wisdom, it is inner knowing and profound understanding.
Gold is the symbol of riches on all levels.
Gold is power and strength.
Gold is given as a mark of status - from 'gold stars' at school to the crowns of kings and queens.
It is associated with spiritual power and holiness.
Silence is golden.
We talk of 'going for gold' when we are aiming high.
Gold is a color of dignity and might.
Gold is an excellent conductor of heat and electricity but it is resistant to chemical reagents and is, therefore, virtually incorruptible.
We refer to things that are rare and that have a high value as being like 'gold dust' and we describe someone who is generous and pure as having a 'heart of gold'.
Yellow: Yellow covers the third major energy center of the body - the solar plexus chakra.
Yellow is composed of a single ray in contrast to most of the other colors which are secondary or tertiary colors.
Yellow is the ray of sunshine - the solar plexus is our sun center, the core of our individuality.
Yellow is the color of prana - the universal life force.
Yellow is associated with knowledge and the sharing of it and it is closely associated with the function of intellect and thought.
Yellow is creativity and understanding.
It is practical thought, inspiration and wisdom acquired through learning.
Yellow is uplifting, optimistic and cheerful.
A person who is drawn to yellow is likely to be vibrant,optimistic and have the inate ability to make others laugh and to see the funny side of most situations.
Yellow is a symbol of new life - it is the color of chicks and egg yolks.
Yellow is energizing and stimulating.
Yellow is the color of the individual will.
Therapeutic uses of the Yellow Ray:
It activates the motor nerves.
It affects the nervous system
It acts as a laxative when you use solarized water. NOTE: For diarrhoea use blue or indigo. (I will post up details of solarizing water when I have finished going through the colors :0))
Good for skin ailments and nervous exhaustion.
Do NOT use the yellow ray for nervous breakdown - use blue and green.
Wednesday is Mercury's day and the color is Yellow.
Olive: The olive green area lies between the solar plexus and the region of the heart protecting the heart from below.
Olive green is comprised of two parts yellow to one part blue.
It represents the bringing of wisdom into the world.
Olive is a ray which has long remained hidden away, strangely enough one of the things that we associate this green with is army uniforms and their main objective is camouflage!!
Olive is the color of a new leaf unfolding, forests and nature.
Olive is the part of the heart center which connects us with our surroundings and helps us to link our consciousness with the world.
Olive also offers us the promise of a new land - the dove that Noah sent out came back with an olive branch which was a sign of new life springing forth.
Olive oil is used by priests when they are performing the last rites thus providing a bridge between this world and the next dimension.
Olive is also to do with power, authority and leadership.
It is the color of the earth mother and it connects us with ancient times.
Therapeutic uses of the Olive Green Ray:
Olive can help us to work positively with our emotions.
Olive is cleansing and disinfectant.
Olive is calming.
It can be used to heal and soothe, to re-boost and regenerate and to gain awareness where awareness has been lost.
Green: Green is the very center - the heart center.
It is the fourth chakra out of the traditional seven.
Captured within the green ray is an equal balance of Yellow, which represents the individual will, and blue,which represents the divine will. It is the resolution of these two energies that is contained within the Green.
Green is the color of love freely given, and is the communication of our thoughts, feelings and actions.
Green is truth, balance, direction and space. It is harmony and nature.
Green symbolizes the ideals of those committed to ecological activity.
Green is a symbol of growth.
There is another gift which is bestowed upon us by green and that is the gift of freedom.
Green is soothing and calming.
Green provides nourishment for the body, the spirit and the heart.
Green is the balance ray.
Therapeutic uses of the Green Ray:
It affects the digestive system.
It relieves tension.
It is good for shock.
It helps to alleviate headaches and helps those suffering with neuralgia.
It controls the blood pressure (light green for high blood pressure and dark green for low blood pressure).
It relaxes the heart.
Friday is Venus day and the color is green.
Turquoise:
In between the green and the blue we find the color Turquoise.
Turquoise enables us to find the creative communication of the heart through
the feeling side of the being.
It has more to do with feeling and intuition than with rational thought.
Turquoise is the color of emotion, feeling and of communication.
It brings the blue of communication into the green of the world.
The color Turquoise is associated with the ancient civilizations and is
found frequently in the art of ethnic cultures.
Turquoise is referred to as one of the New Age rays - it is a color
associated with Aquarius.
It is the color of the inner teacher within ourselves, a color which
indicates self reliance and independence.
Turquoise is a color which we associate with the sea.
The most powerful symbol of the Turquoise ray lives in the sea - it is the
dolphin. They can communicate with themselves over very long distances and
their communication is wide, telepathic and based in the feeling.
Turquoise has a transdimentional quality, not only does it connect us with
the sea but it is also the color of connection with other realms such as
those of the angels.
On another level, turquoise is connected with the communication network -
satellites, telephones and the internet.
The legend of the turquoise, a stone in various shades of green and blue, is
that it should always be received as a gift and never purchased.
Therapeutic uses of the Turquoise Ray:
Turquoise can help to calm children who are hypersensitive.
Turquoise calms the mind and is cooling to the nervous system.
Blue: The fifth chakra covers the throat area and its color is Blue.
The color blue connects us with the 'Divine Plan' in which we each have our
own part to play. Blue gives us great protection. Blue is approaching the
cooler and calmer end of the spectrum - where Red is stimulating, Blue is pacifying.
It is a healing color which prevents progression and offers us a chance to
be still and calm. Blue discourages disease, disharmony and all negative vibrations.
Blue is the color of speech, listening, hearing and knowing. Blue is calm
tranquility. In Buddhic philosophy, blue is the color of a pure mind, a mind uncluttered
by thought. Blue is a color of high ideals and principles.
Blue is not only the calming end of the spectrum but also the cooling one.
It may be used in situations where we are out of control and chaos reigns.
The Archangel Michael is often portrayed in robes of Blue, with a sword of
insight which slays the dragon.
Blue enables us to find a sense of trust and faith - it is a guiding energy.
Therapeutic uses of the Blue Ray:
The blue ray is one of the greatest antiseptics in the world.
It calms down the mind and nerves.
Good for throat conditions, stings, itches and bites.
Use for insomnia, teething troubles and inflamed eyes.
Also good to use in cases of shock.
When you have a fever the blue ray will cool you.
Use a blue light for measles, chicken pox and mumps.
Blue solarized water can cool a high temperature.
Thursday is Jupiter's day and the color is Blue.
Indigo: Indigo relates to the sixth energy center - the brow chakra.
This contains the sense organs - nose, ears and eyes.
Indigo is also concerned with the refinement of the senses - the extra sensory.
The sixth chakra is the sixth sense or third eye and it is located in the middle of the forehead.
Indigo is the door through to the unconscious.
The bridge which links the two hemispheres of the brain is also in the indigo area thus making it an empowering agent for those of an intuitive or creative nature.
Indigo is associated with meditation and mysticism.
Indigo brings deep healing through all the senses.
It is a helpful ray for those who paint and write but have difficulty with verbal communication.
Indigo is linked with Angelite - a precious stone found only in Peru.
This stone has a link with the angelic kingdoms.
Indigo is mystery and the unexpected.
Indigo is secrets.
The person drawn to indigo tends to be highly efficient and capable of enormous determination.
Indigo is about total empathy.
Indigo is seen in the auras of those people known as catalysts, who speed the spiritual and psychical development of everyone they touch.
Indigo is lightning and quicksilver, ever-changing and transforming.
Indigo is inspiration.
Therapeutic uses of the Indigo Ray:
This ray removes fear.
Purifies the blood stream.
Depresses nerves and lymphatics.
Good for varicose veins, insomnia, boils, ulcers, eczema and bruising.
Indigo heals the etheric body.
Saturday is Saturn's day and the color is Indigo.
Violet: Violet is the color of the seventh and final chakra of the traditional chakra system.
Violet is the crown chakra - our personal connection with heaven.
The seventh color is the color of ritual, magic, mystery and mysticism.
Violet is the energy of completion - the color of regrowth and renewal.
This color brings together equal parts of Blue and Red.
It is the color of connection to the higher self.
Violet has the shortest wavelength of the colors in the visible spectrum and it is the most calming.
Having a short wavelength, it vibrates very fast and is thus very penetrating. This penetrating nature gives violet spiritual potency.
Violet is linked with the ability to see into the unknown. It is the super-conscious.
Violet is deeply healing and soothes the pains of body and spirit.
The gift of violet is the possibility of bringing heaven to earth.
It is the reconciliation of heaven and earth.
Violet is the color of transformation.
Violet is cleansing and purifying.
Violet signifies the end of a process, illumination and rebirth.
Therapeutic uses of the Violet Ray:
Good for mental and nervous disorders and emotional disturbances.
Maintains the potassium balance in the body.
Controls excessive hunger.
Sedates and subdues.
Purifies the system.
Do not use this ray when you are depressed - use green or blue.
Monday is Moon's day and the colors are Silver and Violet.
Magenta: Beyond the physical body, above the crown chakra, there exists another color - Magenta.
Like turquoise, the other New Age ray, Magenta offers us the promise of things to come.
It may, from time to time, be faintly perceived beneath violet at the bottom of the rainbow.
Magenta is complex, deep-rooted and powerful.
Magenta denotes the beginning of a new cycle where the blue merges into and becomes contained within Red.
Magenta is a very arresting color. It is a curious combination of red, blue and pink.
Where pure white light reflects all the colors of the spectrum, magenta contains them and thus, it represents the darkness out of which comes all light, all creation.
Magenta is the color of love on many levels particularly the Divine.
Contained within Magenta is great nurturing and learning but also anguish and isolation.
Magenta is Divine healing which restores our faith and our well-being.
Magenta is associated with inspirational thinkers, those living ahead of their time.
Clear:
The clear or pure white light exists above, beyond and around the rainbow.
The name implies clarity and the phrase 'crystal clear' portrays the purity of clear quartz crystal.
Clear has the potential to reflect all that is placed in front of it.
The power of clear light is symbolized by the full moon - the moon has no light of its own but reflects the Suns light.
White snow and clear ice are both forms of frozen water and water is the element associated with emotion.
Thus clear may symbolize frozen emotion.
It is also the symbol of purity.
Black:
This color is very powerful for protection and absorbing negative energies that are either picked up unknowingly or purposely directed towards a person. This works best when burnt in conjunction with a white candle.

Color Affirmations:
Concentrate on the affirmation and say it seven times - then close your eyes
and imagine the color pouring into you and filling every part of you. Try
not to use these color affirmations at bed time as they may over-energize
you .
Rose Red - The Rose Red ray is pouring into my bloodstream giving me new
life and courage for all I do.
Pink - The Pink Ray is circulating throughout my whole system, revitalizing
my cells and filling me with love.
Orange - The Orange Ray fills me with vitality and joy and recharges my
etheric body and rejuvenates every part of me.
Yellow - The Yellow Ray fill my being with sunshine, wisdom and love pour
into my body, mind and soul.
Green - The Green Ray flows in through my heart, bringing peace and harmony
to every part of my being.
Blue - The Blue Ray calms my mind and brings healing to all my cells and
organs.
Indigo - The Indigo Ray links me to knowledge and understanding that will
help me at this time.
Violet - The Violet Ray clears the dross and purifies my being as it flows
into my glands bringing me new life and energy.
Turquoise - The Turquoise Ray brings peace and calms my mind and emotions
and I am in command of the situation.
Magenta - The Magenta Ray is healing my body, mind and emotions and bringing
me a deeper understanding of all my affairs. I go forward knowing that all
is well.
Universal Affirmation - I am surrounded at all times by cosmic healing rays
and I wish to become fully receptive to them.
